Gmail eases matter with compiling duplicate contacts into one.
Here's how you do it.
- Log onto GMail and click on Contacts.
- In the My Contacts section, select 2 or more contacts that you think is the same person.
- On your edit panel, you will see "Merge these (numbers) cotacts". Click on it.
- GMail will show you the result of the confirmation and will ask you if you want to cancel it or confirm the merge.
- If you are happy with what you see. Click Save and you're done.
